We're not about destination weddings or outsiders — we're about the real Goan scene: the birthdays, weddings, carnivals, corporate nights and tiatrs that make this place pulse with colour and rhythm.

Anyone living in Goa and Goans abroad (including those in the UK) can use Goa FYI to book Goan vendors for events in Goa. Only Goan vendors can be listed — vendors outside Goa are not allowed to register.

3. Is Goa FYI free for clients?

Yes — browsing, contacting vendors and making bookings are completely free for clients. No commissions apply.

4. Is there any commission on bookings?

No. Goa FYI charges zero commission to both clients and vendors.

5. Is Goa FYI an app or a website?

Goa FYI is a web app — accessible through any browser on desktop or mobile. No installation needed.

6. Do I need an account to browse vendors?

No. Anyone can search and view profiles without logging in. An account is only needed to make bookings.

7. Is Goa FYI secure?

Yes — all vendor accounts are email-verified and password-protected. After activation, only the vendor has access to their account.

8. Does Goa FYI replace Instagram or WhatsApp?

No. Goa FYI is its own platform but includes links to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube so you can connect instantly.

9. Can Goans abroad book vendors for events in Goa?

Yes — Goans in the UK or anywhere else can book Goa-based vendors for family functions or events in Goa.

10. Are non-Goan vendors allowed to list?

No. Only vendors operating within Goa can list their services on Goa FYI.

11. How do I find event service providers in Goa?

Use the search bar or browse by category (e.g., photographer, band, decorator) or region (North Goa, South Goa, Panaji, Margao).

12. Can I sort vendors by rating or recently added?

Yes — you can sort by Highest Rated, Lowest Rated or Recently Added.

13. Can I make a wishlist of vendors?

Wishlist saving is temporarily unavailable. Please bookmark your favourite vendors for now.

14. How do I contact a vendor?

Click the WhatsApp button or Call button on their profile to speak directly.

15. Can I message vendors through WhatsApp?

Yes — the WhatsApp button opens their chat directly.

16. Can I see vendor availability?

It depends. If a vendor has listed availability or packages, you'll see it on their profile. If they've disabled it, availability will be hidden.

17. Can I see packages before booking?

Yes — vendors usually list their packages and details for you to compare.

18. Do I have to book through the app?

No — you can discuss details on WhatsApp or by call and finalise offline if you prefer.

19. Can I track my bookings and receipts?

Yes — confirmed bookings are saved in your dashboard with digital receipts.

20. Can I report a problem with a vendor?

Yes — you can report issues through our support form or contact us on WhatsApp if a vendor's behaviour violates our terms.

21. Can I share a vendor's profile?

Yes — use the Share button to send the link on WhatsApp or social media.

22. Do clients have to pay any fees?

No. Browsing and booking are free for clients.

23. Can I review a vendor?

Yes — leave a rating and comment after your event to help others.

24. What if a vendor doesn't respond?

You can try contacting them again or choose another vendor — Goa FYI has many alternatives in each category.

25. Can I book a vendor for someone else?

Yes — as long as the event is in Goa and you coordinate directly with the vendor.

Click Partner With Us, fill out the form and our team will contact you to verify and create your account.

27. Is there a subscription fee?

Yes — Goa FYI has a subscription model that varies by category. No commission is taken from bookings.

Yes — you can upgrade or downgrade depending on your needs.

29. Can I get a refund if I cancel?

No — Goa FYI does not offer refunds once you've paid for your subscription.

Yes — you can link all your social profiles and website from your dashboard.

Yes — you can toggle visibility for packages or availability whenever you wish.

No — there are no hidden fees or booking commissions.

44. How do I renew my subscription?

You'll get an email before expiry — renew directly from your dashboard.

45. Can I transfer my subscription to someone else?

No — subscriptions are linked to verified emails and cannot be transferred.

Your email is public so clients can reach you. Login details and password remain private and cannot be accessed by Goa FYI staff.

47. Can Goa FYI access my account after activation?

No — after verification, only you can log in.

48. How are bookings and receipts stored?

All bookings and receipts are stored inside the app for reference and can be downloaded whenever needed.

Yes — email our support team to request account and data deletion.
