1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to GoaFYI! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the GoaFYI platform (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), which connects event organizers, locals, and citizens of Goa (“Clients”) with event service providers (“Vendors”). By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use GoaFYI.

2. Our Service

GoaFYI is an event service discovery and vendor listing platform that helps users in Goa find, connect with, and contact verified event vendors for all kinds of occasions — from small local gatherings to large-scale events.

Our platform facilitates connections between:

• Event organizers, locals, citizens of Goa, or clients seeking vendors for occasions such as weddings, birthdays, festivals, community functions, and corporate events; and
• Event vendors offering services like photography, catering, decoration, entertainment, venues, bar services, and more.

GoaFYI acts as a digital marketplace and promotional platform, allowing users to browse vendor listings, view details, and contact vendors directly. All service agreements, negotiations, and payments occur independently and offline between the vendor and the client. Note: GoaFYI does not process bookings, payments, or refunds between users. We simply facilitate visibility and discovery.

3. User Responsibilities

For All Users

• Provide accurate, current, and truthful information only when required, such as when signing in to use the wishlist or booking features, or when sending a booking request.
• You can freely browse vendors and listings without signing in or sharing any data.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials (if you create an account).
• Use the platform lawfully, respectfully, and professionally.
• Report any suspicious, fraudulent, or inappropriate behavior to GoaFYI.
• Users are free to communicate and finalize bookings offline directly with vendors if they prefer.

For Event Organizers, Locals, and Clients

• Provide genuine details (name, phone number, and event location) only when sending a booking request or when using wishlist/booking features.
• You are not required to sign in to browse or view vendors.
• Communicate professionally and confirm details directly with vendors.
• Booking requests are sent only to the selected vendor and never shared publicly.
• GoaFYI is not involved in communications or payment arrangements between clients and vendors.
• All event details, confirmations, and payments can be handled offline between the vendor and the client.

For Vendors

• Maintain accurate and updated service listings.
• Upload only lawful, relevant, and non-offensive content.
• Vendors may upload: up to 10 photos; up to 2 YouTube video links; optional website link; packages, pricing, and availability (optional).
• Vendors can choose whether to display or hide their availability, pricing, or location at any time.
• GoaFYI is not responsible for any mistaken visibility of vendor information (e.g., showing availability publicly by accident).
• Vendors must ensure they possess valid business licenses, registrations, or MSME certifications if applicable.

4. Prohibited Activities

Users and vendors agree not to:

• Use the platform for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory information.
• Upload explicit, offensive, or copyrighted content without permission.
• Include links or media leading to inappropriate, illegal, or harmful material.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or vendors.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to GoaFYI systems.
• Spam or send unsolicited communications.

If any vendor or user violates these rules, GoaFYI may remove or suspend their account and, if necessary, report the violation to authorities.

5. Payment Terms

• All vendor subscription fees are handled offline via cash, UPI, or bank transfer.
• GoaFYI does not process or store any digital or card payment details.
• Vendors pay a fixed, non-refundable subscription fee for a 13-month listing (12 paid months + 1 free).
• GoaFYI does not charge clients for browsing or contacting vendors.
• All service payments between clients and vendors occur independently and offline.
• GoaFYI is not involved in or responsible for any financial disputes or losses.

6. Promotions and Visibility

GoaFYI may promote vendor listings on its Instagram, Facebook, and offline materials.

Promotions may include:

• Instagram reels and collaborative posts
• Story reposts and shoutouts
• Mentions in GoaFYI posts or videos
• Inclusion in brochures or local event materials

Promotions are optional and provided at no extra cost during the subscription term. GoaFYI reserves the right to edit or remove promotional content that violates community guidelines or laws.

7. Disclaimers

GoaFYI is a listing and connection platform only. We do not control, verify, or guarantee the performance, legality, or quality of vendor services.

GoaFYI does not:

• Guarantee service outcomes, reliability, or safety of vendors.
• Endorse specific vendors or event organizers.
• Offer warranties, insurance, or guarantees on bookings.
• Intervene in cancellations, disputes, or payments between users.

All users engage with vendors at their own discretion and risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• GoaFYI is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
• GoaFYI’s liability is limited solely to maintaining the technical availability of the website and listings.
• We are not responsible for content uploaded by vendors or for any errors, cancellations, or losses arising from offline interactions.

9. Content Ownership

• Vendors retain ownership of their uploaded content (photos, videos, descriptions).
• By uploading, vendors grant GoaFYI a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote their content on the platform and official social media pages.
• Vendors can edit or remove their content anytime from their dashboard.
• GoaFYI may remove content that violates these Terms, community standards, or Indian law.

10. Non-Guarantee Clause

GoaFYI does not guarantee:

• Any specific number of leads, bookings, or inquiries.
• Listing visibility, ranking, or engagement.
• Any commercial or business outcome for vendors.

Visibility depends on user activity, category type, and listing quality.

11. Account Termination

• GoaFYI may suspend or permanently delete accounts that violate these Terms or upload illegal/inappropriate content.
• Terminated vendors are not eligible for refunds.
• Vendors may voluntarily delete their profile anytime by emailing goafyi@gmail.com.
• Upon deletion, all vendor data will be permanently removed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. All updates will be posted here with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of GoaFYI after updates implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Goa, India.
